1kg scrap bag of dress fabric. Some materials are satin, heavy silk satin (from a wedding dress), brocade, shot fabrics (silk and polyester). There are offcuts, some have hems from dresses that have been shortened, all sorts of bits and pieces. Some are small, a few are quite large for a scrap bag. All the ones in the photos are what is in the parcel, plain colours and some patterned.
Colours may vary slightly due to screens showing colours slightly differently.
~~~~~ FABRIC RESCUE ~~~~~ Fabric Rescue is fabric we've saved from going to landfill or an unknown future. Some are from deceased estates where the family doesn't know what to do with it, some are from retired sewers or shops who don't want to throw it out but can't keep it, or from the end of rolls that are no longer needed.
This means that we don't always know exactly what type of fabric it is or it's washing instructions. We have made educated guesses in some cases, but others we will mention if we are unsure.
For this reason, Fabric Rescue fabric is often cheaper as we've received it cheaper, and we don't know all the details.
We also are rarely able to get any more of the same fabric, so once it's gone, it is gone.
