Mesh Lace - Burnt Rose - Fabric Rescue

This fabric is 140cm wide
This fabric is sold per meter and will be cut to the amount of meters purchased.

Soft mesh lace with about 40% stretch. Lovely soft fabric able to be worn close to your skin without scratching.
Has a pattern of flowers, swirls and leaves that fade in and out (see photos for description) in beautiful burnt reds.
Due to the dyeing process some of the roses are tinged orange and some of the colour hasn't set to the material so they appear to fade into black, instead of having a continuous stable red colour all the way through the pattern. It does, however, give it a natural organic feel to the pattern.

This material would make great wristlets, cardigans, vintage-inspired dresses (1920's style) and beautiful soft drapey outfits.

Gentle cool hand wash.
Do not tumble dry.
This fabric shouldn't need ironing.

Fabric Rescue is fabric we've saved from going to landfill or an unknown future. Some is from deceased estates where the family don't know what to do with it, some is from retired sewers or shops who don't want to throw it out but can't keep it, or from end of rolls that are no longer needed.

This means that we don't always know exactly what type of fabric it is or it's washing instructions.
We have made educated guesses in some cases, but others we will mention if we are unsure.

For this reason, Fabric Rescue fabric is often cheaper as we've received it cheaper, and we don't know all the details.

We also are rarely able to get any more of the same fabric, so once it's gone, it is gone.
