This fabric is purple shot with black, although the black doesn't come through as much as a lot of shot fabrics, it will give more of a light/dark effect rather than a black coming through effect.

The purple on the front is quite shiny, and the black on the back has a matt finish. The third photo shows the difference between the two.

The best colour Gutermann thread we've found for matching to this fabric is number 512.

This fabric is suitable for skirts, dresses and tops.
